It started with coffee, not with software
Who is behind BeanFlow, and where the idea of writing a system for coffee roasteries came from.

My name is Jakub Pawlak and I have spent well over a decade in IT — at the largest companies in Poland, on systems with real money and real people on the other side of the screen.
Coffee started the ordinary way: a first grinder, then a scale and a thermometer, then evenings spent over roast curves wondering why the same coffee tastes different twice.
The closer I got to roasteries, the more often I saw the same thing: excellent coffee, and a spreadsheet that cannot say what one bag really costs — the shrinkage is from memory and the freight invoice turns up three weeks after the roast.
BeanFlow came out of exactly that: a love of coffee and the habit of putting in order whatever can be put in order.
We build it for family-run Polish roasteries — and for every other roastery that roasts in earnest, whatever country it is in and whatever currency it counts its batches in.
